The beginning of each new artwork is an experimental adventure. I rarely make sketches. Working directly in three dimensions gives me far greater possibilities to be creative.

At first I have an idea which inspires me - then I let my passion run without leach! What mostly fascinates me with sculpturing is that it gives me the opportunity to express my inner self with my hands and through the material.

After starting out working with clay and plaster, in smaller sizes and with a more classic figurative style, has my art transitioned into larger sculptures made out of other materials such as stone or cellular concrete. During this process, my sculptures have also taken more abstract shapes.

Caroline paintingDuring the past years, I have started to create paintings with colorful acrylic paint, mainly on larger canvas. The style is abstract.

Spain, the Northern Lights and my cousin’s wedding in Sweden have often been my sources of inspiration.
